Antelope Island Stampede - September 3 - 5, 2010

The Stampede will be held in the White Rock Bay area of Antelope Island over Labor Day weekend (except Monday). Activities begin at 5PM on Friday and at daybreak on Saturday and Sunday. The events conclude at 11PM on Friday and Saturday, and 9PM on Sunday. There ARE NO EVENTS ON MONDAY OF LABOR DAY WEEKEND.

For the last five years, families and guests have had fun watching hot air balloons and professional kite flyers during the Stampede. Each year brings a different activity. Last year, we had over 20,000 visitors over the 3-day period. Come join us for a great vacation close to home!

If you know a company that might want to sponsor the Stampede, we have packages starting at $1000. Click here for a sponsor packet.

1st Annual Layton Marathon - October 9, 2010

While the entire marathon isn't on the island, over half of it is. It starts at Fielding Garr Ranch and runs up the east side, across the causeway and ends in Layton. Even if you don't run it, come on out and support the runners - or better yet, be a volunteer and help! It's a fun activity for the entire family. There's also a 5k, 10k and half-marathon event.
